The tooth is fully numbed with local anaesthesia, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain. What is flap surgery, and does it hurt?ఫ్లాప్ సర్జరీ అంటే ఏమిటి? నొప్పి ఉంటుందా?
Flap surgery treats advanced gum disease. Under local anaesthesia, the gum is lifted slightly so the roots and bone can be cleaned, then stitched back. It takes about an hour per area.
